Fine Time
About This Place
Located in the heart of Brooklyn’s vibrant 11206 zip code, Fine Time is a standout bar and beer garden that masterfully blends a laid-back neighborhood vibe with expertly crafted cocktails and an inviting social atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot promises a refined yet relaxed experience that keeps patrons coming back for more.
Fine Time’s liquid menu is where the real magic happens. Their featured cocktails are creative and refreshing, each offering a distinct personality that caters to every palate. The Fancy Flamingo Whiskey, infused with hibiscus, lemon juice, and cinnamon, dances on the tongue with a warm, floral spice. For those seeking a zesty kick, the Spicy Hibiscus Marg combines tequila, jalapeño, lime, and hibiscus into a vibrant, thrilling sip. The Dance With Damaris Gin, with elderflower, aperol, and lemon juice, offers a delicate yet lively floral note, while the Bushwick Buck’s mezcal, ginger beer, and bitters present a smoky, effervescent delight. Not to be missed is the Frozen Painkiller - a perfectly chilled tropical escape in a glass.
Aside from cocktails, beer enthusiasts will find a thoughtful selection ranging from affordable staples like Rolling Rock and Miller High Life to flavorful craft options such as Virginia Beer Co. IPA and Good Nature Amber Ale. They even offer wines on tap and canned sparkling options, adding versatility for drinkers who want to explore beyond traditional pours.
But Fine Time isn’t just about beverages-it’s a genuine community hub. Customers rave about the welcoming, dog-friendly environment and friendly staff who treat everyone like family. Maya Kipnis sums it up best: “Great cocktails and cool vibe… finally a decent place that is close and THAT good!” This spirit of warmth shines through in small touches like the ever-present free popcorn machine and complimentary hotdogs, courtesy of Ericson Contreras, making every visit feel like a casual yet special outing.
The layout supports both intimate chats and lively hangouts, with a cozy front area and a spacious back filled with games, including a pool table that guests adore. Aaron shares his experience: “Cozy in the front, so much room in the back area… staff really chill like that & the peeps there were too!” The diverse musical backdrop and thoughtful monitoring of the space ensure every visit feels safe and fun-as reflected in Samantha Han’s account of the attentive bartender who handled a difficult situation with grace, underscoring Fine Time’s commitment to customer comfort.
If you’re looking for a neighborhood bar where you can savor expertly made drinks, enjoy good company, and relax in an unfussy, welcoming environment, Fine Time stands out as a true Brooklyn gem. It’s not just a place to drink-it’s a place to belong.

• 11 month agoGreat venue! I was having drinks with a friend and when I left to go to the bathroom, a drunk man approached my friend and started aggressively hitting on her. Our male bartender (regretfully I don't know his name, but I appreciate him) had been keeping an eye out and talked him into leaving us alone. Will be coming back!
